'Fibrevores' can be fed fresh greens to give additional fresh nutrients and to provide some variety. But you need to be careful about what you feed them, and how much. Some vegetables are harmful to some 'fibrevores'. And it's important not to provide large quantities of those which are not harmful - filling up on greens will stop your pet from eating the correct amount of fibre. In addition, greens are rich foods and, in large amounts, can't be processed efficiently by the digestive systems of these pets.
