In 2009, Burgess National Rabbit Week will focus on fibre. Did you know that rabbits are ‘fibrevores’? Fibre is an essential part of a rabbit's diet, and plays a vital role in maintaining their good health and wellbeing. Rabbits require extremely high levels of fibre in order to keep their digestive system running smoothly, their teeth in good working order, and to enhance their emotional health.

If you are a rabbit-owner, or are thinking about getting a rabbit, you'll find this website packed full of useful information. You can learn more about why rabbits are ‘fibrevores’ and how fibre helps to keep them healthy, and you can check out what events are happening in your area during Burgess National Rabbit Week.
