It’s that time of year again when dog lovers everywhere turn their attention to what is widely referred to as the greatest dog show on earth, Crufts, held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. Burgess, makers of the popular Supadog and Supadog Wellbeing dog food ranges, will be at the show with a host of activities planned each day. Whether you are looking for entertainment or need some advice on your own pooch, if you’re planning a trip to Crufts, be sure to visit the Burgess Supadog stand No 152 in Hall 4. Star attraction will be Samia Smith – ‘Maria Connor’ in Coronation Street – who will make a special appearance with her on-screen puppy, the adorable black Labrador, Ozzy, between 1p.m. and 4p.m. on Saturday 8 March. A dog lover and owner, Samia will be on hand, with Ozzy, to meet members of the public. In real life, Ozzy is brand ambassador of the Supadog range of food, and belongs to dog expert, Anne Lundt, who will also be there to answer any questions on how to handle your dog. There are lots of exciting things going on at the Burgess stand. Why not go along and have a fun portrait of you and your dog drawn by an expert caricaturist? Or enter the Supadog competition to win a weekend break for you and your dog at the luxurious and dog friendly Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel, set against the stunning backdrop of North Yorkshire, the home of Burgess. Christine Neasham, marketing director at Burgess, said: “We are a company of pet lovers and owners and dogs really matter to us. Like all animal lovers, we at Burgess know how important it is to ensure the health of your pets and choosing the right food can make all the difference. Supadog offers a range of delicious, top-quality, complete dried dog food, with all the goodness a dog needs to keep him in tip-top condition, and Supadog Wellbeing is a premium quality hypo-allergenic food that helps care for your dog’s inner health.” Even if you can’t make it to Crufts, why not show off your very own Supadog?
